How do I start studying?

After downloading the app, create an account or sign in. The app will automatically show you cards that are due for review. Simply tap on the Study tab to begin your first session!

What is spaced repetition?

Spaced repetition is a scientifically proven learning technique that schedules reviews at optimal intervals. Cards you struggle with appear more frequently, while mastered cards appear less often. This maximizes retention while minimizing study time.

How does the rating system work?

After viewing the answer to a flashcard, rate your knowledge:

• Again: You didn't know it at all (review in ~10 minutes)
• Hard: You knew it but struggled (review in ~1 day)
• Good: You knew it with some thought (review in ~3 days)
• Easy: You knew it instantly (review in ~7 days)

What topics are available?

Morphfolio currently features comprehensive software engineering content including Advanced Python, API Design, Microservices, LLM Concepts, and System Design. We're constantly adding new topics based on user feedback!

How do I track my progress?

Tap the Progress tab to view detailed analytics including your study streak, mastery breakdown by category, accuracy rates, and cards studied. You can see which areas you're excelling in and which need more attention.

Can I set a daily study goal?

Yes! Go to Settings and set your desired daily goal (number of cards to review). The app will help you stay on track and build a consistent study habit.

What if no cards are due?

This means you're caught up! Come back later when cards become due for review. You can also explore other categories or check your progress in the meantime.

Can I study specific categories?

Currently, the app shows you the most important cards across all categories. Category-specific study modes are coming in a future update!

The app won't load my cards

Try these steps:

1. Check your internet connection
2. Make sure you're signed in to your account
3. Pull down to refresh the page
4. Force quit the app and reopen it
5. If the issue persists, contact support

I forgot my password

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. You'll receive a password reset link via email.

My progress isn't syncing

Morphfolio requires an internet connection to sync your progress. Make sure you're online and try pulling down to refresh. Your progress is automatically saved to the cloud when connected.

The app is crashing

If you experience crashes:

1. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
2. Restart your device
3. Delete and reinstall the app (your data is saved in the cloud)
4. Contact support with details about when the crash occurs

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@morphfolio.com with your request. We'll process it within 48 hours.

Is Morphfolio free?

Is there a free trial?

Yes! Premium monthly and yearly subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial period.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Visit morphfolio.com/pricing or tap "Upgrade" in your account settings. For mobile subscriptions, you can also upgrade through the iOS/Android app stores.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your account settings:

1. Go to Settings → Subscription
2. Click "Manage Subscription"
3. Select "Cancel Subscription"

You'll keep Premium access until the end of your billing period. For mobile subscriptions purchased through app stores, cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

What happens when I cancel?

When your subscription ends, you'll be downgraded to the Free tier. Don't worry - your custom cards and categories will be saved, but you'll be limited to 50 custom cards and 2 categories. Your study progress is always preserved.

Can I get a refund?

Yes! We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Premium, email us at support@morphfolio.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See our refund policy below for details.

When will I be charged for renewal?

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly). We'll send you a reminder email 7 days before renewal. You can view your renewal date in Settings → Subscription.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. For mobile subscriptions, you can pay through the App Store (Apple Pay) or Google Play.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI-DSS compliant and used by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your credit card information on our servers.

Can I use the same account on multiple devices?

Yes! Your account and progress sync across all devices where you're signed in. Your Premium subscription covers all your devices - study on your iPhone during your commute and pick up where you left off on your iPad at home.

Will there be ads?

No. Morphfolio will never show advertisements. We believe learning should be distraction-free. We're committed to a subscription-based model that aligns our success with yours.

What's Not Covered

Refunds are not available for:

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

4. Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days depending on your bank

Mobile App Store Purchases

For subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, refunds are handled by Apple or Google respectively. You'll need to request a refund directly through your app store account. See Apple's refund policy or Google's refund policy for details.

After a Refund

Once a refund is processed:

• Your account will be downgraded to the Free tier immediately
• You'll lose access to Premium features
• Your custom cards and study progress will be preserved
• You can re-subscribe at any time

When can I create my own flashcards?

Custom flashcard creation is in active development! We're planning to release this feature in Q3 2026. You'll be able to create decks for any subject you want to learn.

We're actively building new content libraries. Tell us what subjects you'd like to see next! Email your suggestions to support@morphfolio.com.

Will there be a sharing feature?

Yes! We're planning community features that will let you share your custom decks and discover flashcards created by other learners. Expected in Q4 2026.
